July forecast for Stoke-on-Trent as England brace for ‘hot and rumble’ conditions

Forecasters believe the UK could see some ‘hot and thunderous’ conditions this month as temperatures may be ‘below average’. The prediction from the Met Office comes as North Staffordshire has seen a gray and wet late June – having previously been sizzling in hot conditions.

And meteorologists say that while temperatures will creep up on Pottery, July could bring some wetter conditions. Across the country and earlier this month will see periods of heavy rain and high winds – which can make BBQ a bit tricky.

Forecasters with the BBC forecast temperatures will be back into the 20s next week after what formed a mild weekend where temperatures struggled to get out of the teens. But Saturday and Sunday will still be dry – before any chance of thunder on Monday.

Meanwhile remote forecaster with AccuWeather predicts July will bring a high of 22C to North Staffordshire.
